Lao Handicraft Festival

The annual Lao Handicraft Festival will be held at the Champasak Palace Hotel, in Pakse, Champasak Province from 24-26 November. At the festival more than 200 exhibitors from around the country will showcase traditional handicrafts and local products such as textiles, woodcarvings, basketry and pottery. There will also be craft demonstrations, marketing seminars and a fashion show for participants and producers.

Luang Prabang Ethnic Music Festival

For the first time ever, Luang Prabang will hold an Ethnic Music Festival and Exhibition from 14-16 December at the old sports field in the World Heritage Town of Luang Prabang. Top performers, instrument makers and handicraft producers from various ethnic groups in the province will be performing traditional ethnic music and showcasing hand-made instruments and locally made products.
