LNTA Presents Public-Private Partnerships:

Laos presented a wide selection of public-private partnership (PPP) opportunities at the Mekong Tourism Forum (MTF) on May 7-8 in Siem Reap, to seek private-sector investors in the country’s many publicly-funded tourism projects.

The Asian Development Bank-Lao National Tourism Authority’s GMS Sustainable Tourism Development Project presented over a dozen private-sector opportunities - such as restaurants, eco-lodges, canopy walks, tour agencies and other products - at sites that include provincial welcome centers, waterfalls, hot springs and other key attractions.

Ecotourism Laos Launches Premier Partnership Program:

Award-winning www.ecotourismlaos.com is launching a Premier Partner Program that aims to connect tourists with responsible tourism businesses, which offer exactly what they seek.

To accomplish this, the Premier Partner Program is offering responsible Ecotourism operators, eco-accommodation managers and Lao handicraft seller/producer in Laos a full-page promotional listing on www.ecotourismlaos.com, which directly links the site’s visitors to tourism business websites and email contacts.
