Location: Southern Laos

Natural Protected Areas: Xe Xap National Protected Area

Ethnic Groups: Tahoy, Katang, Pako, Kado, and Suay.

Ecotourism Attractions: Few travelers have explored the rugged mountains of Sekong Province.

The Sekong River, which flows south into Cambodia, is ideal for river trips. The Dachung Plateau offers a cool climate, and is one of the least developed and most remote parts of the country.
