This 2 day trek begins in Tachok, a Hmong village located on route 7, about 45 minutes east of Phonsavan Town . On the 6 hour walk to Pakeo, pass the cool That Kha Waterfall and climb high into the mountains to Pa Keo village. Wake up early the next morning and hire a village guide to lead you 30 minutes to the Pa Keo Jar Site, which has about 300 stone jars carved from fine sandstone scattered on a forested mountaintop. On day two walk an alternate path back to the pickup point on route 7.
