Key Species: Douc and Francois’s langur,
elephants, cattle, tigers, pangolin, Oriental
pied hornbill, great hornbill, wreathed hornbill
and the white-rumped and red-headed vultures.
Habitat: Forest types include evergreen,
mixed deciduous, dry dipterocarp forest.
Elevation ranges from 200 - 600 m with
peaks up to 1,254 m.
Access: Dong Phou Vieng is accessible from
National Route 9.
