Hike through community forests and farming fields for 1.5 hours to Ban Long Lao, a Hmong village, to rest and enjoy a family-style Lao lunch prepared by the villagers.

After learning about traditional Hmong textile production, trekkers climb through thick forests to the top of a mountain offering excellent views of the surrounding area.

Descend from the hills to a natural spring for a brief rest and afternoon swim. The trail then arrives at the famous Kwang Si Waterfall, Luang Prabang's most popular natural site. Return to Luang Prabang by car in the late afternoon.
