Location: Luang Namtha District - Ban Mai, Ban Thong Jai Neua, Ban Nam Ngen

Description: Tai Dam villages in the Luang Namtha Valley produce high quality handmade silk and textiles, which are sold throughout Laos and the region. Traditional items include Lao skirts and scarves, women's and men's Tai Dam cotton head cloths, and traditional Tai Dam clothing. Biking and self-guided walking tours to these villages can be done from Luang Namtha Town (see map). Products can be purchased directly from the villagers, or in handicraft stores or guesthouses located in Luang Namtha.
